Who

Pebbles of Perpetuity is a next step in a ministry that started in 2004  with two weekly groups getting together to study the Word of God. Our goal was to read with the help of the Holy Spirit. The members came from a variety of Christian denominations, enthusiastically sharing God’s grace in their lives and the insight that a serious and committed reading of the Word guarantees.

The blog enables us to keep in contact, while sharing our blessing with others – especially you who are looking for answers in your life, maybe overcome by fear and defeat. We would like to invite you to join our ongoing study. We do not have all the answers, but we believe God will show us. God promises His active involvement in your life if you get busy with His Word.

Malachi 3:16,17:

Then those who feared the Lord talked often one to another; and the Lord listened and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him of those who reverenced and worshipfully feared the Lord and who thought on His name.

And they shall be Mine, says the Lord of hosts, in that day when I publicly recognize and openly declare them to be My jewels (My special possession, My peculiar treasure). And I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.

This very special Scripture is the guarantee of a heavenly reaction to our discussion. God is a rewarder of those who seek Him. [Hebrews 11:6]

Unless the religious claims of the Bible are again acknowledged, its literary claims will, I think, be given only “mouth honour” and that decreasingly. . . It is, if you like to put it that way, not merely a sacred book but a book so remorselessly and continuously sacred that it does not invite, it excludes or repels, the merely aesthetic approach. You can read it as literature only by a tour de force. You are cutting the wood against the grain, using the tool for a purpose it was not intended to serve. It demands incessantly to be taken on its own terms: it will not continue to give literary delight very long except to those who go to it for something quite different.
